Temps were decent, but, that wind…. Sheesh!
Once again, Gloria led the pack in scoring, with a 7-2, wire-to-wire win over a struggling Dave.
Talk about struggling, Jim had an easy go of it tonight, winning 6 ˝ - 2 ˝ over Andy, who flashed back 20 years to donate not one, not two, but three balls off the tee, to the pond on #13. Ah memories…
Team Mohsinger was next up, as Bette and Tom both won their matches, both in come-from-behind fashion after trailing to Bob and Brian thru the first two holes, finishing strong for the 6-3 wins! Joe, subbing for Dan, also had a come from behind win, as Sue came out firing, striking the ball very nicely and putting like nobody’s business. Nice round Sue!
In the only other wire-to-wire win, Dan R., subbing for Marty, downed Pete 5 ˝ - 3 ˝.
With Mark out of action this week, the “other” stat was not at risk. Unfortunately, due to injury, Mark may be out for an extended period. Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery!
Gloria took top honors in the net category, elevating her from 5th into 1st. Jim and Mike Fusco broke out of their tie for third, with Jim moving up to solo 2nd, and Mike into solo 3rd. Tim dropped just beneath them into 4th place, followed by Bette, who tumbled a bit into 5th place from her former #1 spot.

Virtual Team Competition
There was no change at the top, and Dave and Mark lead the 2nd place team of Brian and Gloria by just ˝ point. Marty and Bette are close behind in 3rd place, just 1 ˝ points behind 2nd. Scores are very close as we approach the halfway point of the first half of that season. The last place team of Bob and Andy has decided to focus their efforts on the 2nd season 😊
We had two birdies on the night, both coming at the final hole.
